Rustic Easter Charm

Good Day!

It's so nice and sunny here today, hard to
believe we had a snowstorm on Saturday
and it looks like a winter wonderland outside again.

Spring in Newfoundland is like that!

I was busy pulling out a few decorative
accessories that I haven't used in a while
over the weekend and I came across
this cute church bird house.
I love it's rustic charm.
I added the birdies and more, yes, more
paper punched Easter eggs
(I must be obsessed).

I have to say that I love the non traditional
colors on these Easter Eggs.

So delicate, it almost looks breakable.

Who would of thought that a snowstorm
outside can give such great lighting for
taking photos...and these were taken in my basement...no touch up on these either...
and that makes it much easier for me!

I love your eggs and the birdhouse, but I have recently been fascinated with birds!! Are yours glued to the candlesticks or just sitting on them?? I love that idea!! I just saw a pair at Goodwill similar to yours and how much cuter on the stands they would be!!!

Sarah your vignettes are stunning. Each photo is so fabulous and elegant. I have always wanted to go to Newfoundland. That is one of my dreams I plan to actually do. I can't wait. I met my hubby at the opposite end of Canada, in Victoria, BC. This is such a wonderful post! I would love it if you would share this at our WIW linky party. Hope to see you there.

Hi Sarah,

Your vignettes look gorgeous! I think I will be trying your pieced paper eggs today. I tried it with a regular foam sphere last week but I think the graduated shape of an egg suits the technique much more.

Have a wonderful Newfoundland Easter from Ontario!
